  2. AI’s Task: The AI received descriptions of all Kaffa’s coffee types and their flavors. Its mission was to create an exciting new blend by pushing the boundaries of conventional flavor combinations.

  3. Surprising Result: The AI chose four types of beans dominated by Brazil’s velvety Fazenda Pinhal. Interestingly, it opted for four different types of coffee beans, rather than the usual two or three. This decision allowed for a well-balanced blend of sweetness and ripe fruit.

  4. Blind Testing: After the first test roasting and blind tasting, Kaffa’s coffee experts agreed that the tech-assisted blend was perfect. Surprisingly, there was no need for human adjustments.

Beyond Kaffa Roastery’s experiment, AI is rapidly becoming an integral part of the coffee roasting process worldwide. Here’s how:
